The Village Pump – was a very familiar sight around Ireland in the 1940s & 1950s.
This one located in Kilmurry Village in east Clare was restored to full working order with the support of Clare County Council in 2015 by a few local vintage enthusiasts and Kilmurry Tidy Towns Group. It is used on a regular basis by the Tidy Towns Group for the weekly watering during the summer. Great to see it in action.
