Seatown Windmill

Near the quays in Dundalk is the impressive tower of an old windmill

It was built around the year 1800, now in ruins and widely used by the local pigeon population as roost. It sits right besides the Rampart River, known as the Mill Race in the 19th century, and is surrounded by modern residential buildings.
