Baltimore Beacon

The Beacon stands looking out to the Atlantic and back at the village of Baltimore in West Cork.

The Beacon marks the entrance to Baltimore harbour and is a historical navigation mark dating back to the 1800s. The Beacon is painted white with a distinctive red ‘lollipop’ on top. The circumference of the Beacon is said to be the same as it’s height!
