The Dublin Society was formed by individuals who immigrated from the North Wall and Sheriff St area to New York. This photo was taken in 1979 at a Dublin Society Dinner Dance.  The individuals in the phot are some of its proud members who all hailed from sheriff St.

From L to R Back Row is as follows:

Paddy Cullen, Dublin Goalkeeper and manager whose career spanned 1966 to 1979. He was born in Stonybatter but  lived in the Avenues just off Seville Place. He joined the O’Connell Boys Club straight after finishing schooling. He captained the inaugural Dublin under-21 team in 1964.He played his last game for Dublin in Sept 1979. He was photographed in this group as he was the guest of honour at this dance. May and Christy McNulty, Norah Fleming, Cathleen Gregan and Rita Gaynor(Nee Dignam)
