Introduction
My investigation looks at probably the most prominent stone building in the town of Roscommon after the Catholic Church, which stands centrally and aloof in Market Square. The building at the heart of this research, is currently the Bank of Ireland in the centre of Roscommon Town, Co. Roscommon, but has as long history of other uses.
