Kitchen Power: Women's experiences of rural electrification

An exhibition exploring the many ways in which rural electrification changed the lived experience for Irish women in the 1950s and '60s. Visitors will be able to view consumer goods and advertisements of the era and will hear from those whose lives were intrinsically changed by this dramatic shift in Irish culture.
