McCann boatyard records

All the records of McCann boatyard activities (orders, invoices and correspondence/record books ) including correspondence from Lord Mountbatten thanking the McCanns for building Shadow V in 1960 were all donated to the Sligo County Archive in 2014. Tom Kilfeather and the Archivist of Sligo CoCo accepted the gift and have had them all digitised. These records go back to 1900.
You may find the Fishing community of Teelin in Donegal who were regular customers have McCann boats still afloat and working.
