Toppled over chair

By Peter Prendergast, 5th year

Object No. 91 James Connolly's shirt, 1916
National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts and History,

A shirt newly bloodied, and with it dies the hope of a truly equal people.Time will pass to steady the fault, but the void is far to great to be sealed.

Divinity will dictate, while non-celestial beings do abide.

Will the growth of single cells, lead to the extinction of the planet?Or will it be starved to mutate and spawn red leaves?

All for the sweet scented sacrifice of blood, and one man’s toppled over chair.
