James Connolly's Shirt

By Chloe Connolly, 1st Year

Object No. 91 James Connolly's shirt, 1916
National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts and History

My shirt was the only shirt I had, I wore it through the good and bad.

Green striped and blood wiped, executed and constituted.

Creased arms, buttoned wrists, top kneck and arm slits.

In the National Museum it holds today, presented in everyway.
