Currachs at Bunbeg, Donegal 1988

In Winter 1998/99, I took a trip along the west coast of Ireland on the trail of James Hornell, who had investigated Irish currachs in 1938.

While visiting a friend in Donegal, we found a few currachs at Bunbeg and I realized that the type of boat Hornell had described in his book had not changed.
