Currach as shop decoration (2)

In 2016, I photographed another interesting currach in a gift shop in Killarney.
I remember I had asked in the shop about it’s story, but they wouldn’t know precisely.

It looks close to a Mulroy Currach from Donegal as you can see from the ribs (made from withies) and the stern construction.

The little currach has got only one thwart, whereas the one in the book “Curraghs Of Ireland” by James Hornell has got two, and therefore is a bit longer.
