My Grandparent's Poem

By Niamh Coen

My Grandparents

Great fun and

Really good

At cooking was my

Nanny Nora.

Down in Eskerboy

Ploughing, cutting the hay

And feeding the cows was Grandad Marty

Rolling up her sleeves to sew and stitch

Everything from curtains to dresses was Nana Christine.

Not forgetting Grandad Brian who

Told me lots of stories to make me laugh out loud.

So thank you God for my Grandparents as they make me

          VERY VERY PROUD!!!
