Johnny Golden has lived in Portmagee all his life. His father had a grocery store there. His house is full of items brought up from the sea by local fishermen, weapons from the Troubles, a piece of a Heinkel bomber, a German Mauser rifle, an old pike, and photos of long ago. Johnny is a treasure himself as he talks about old times, his family and the ancient New Years Eve customs of Portmagee.
