My family's Irish history

By Dr. Dick Cunningham

All four of my great grand-fathers came from Ireland to the US in the 1850s.

Patrick Cunningham built railroads all over the west of the US as did his son Frederick Cunningham.

Patrick’s father also a Patrick was born in Ireland in 1815.

On my mother’s side, i am the great (3x) grandson of Lord William Plunkett who was Chancellor of Ireland in the 1820s.

We toured Ireland in 2009 and loved the country. It is beautiful. We want to come back!
