As dawn broke with its majestic rainbow hues

Instilled magical awakenings as we gathered to

Join with previous generations in greeting our

Solar visitor as he provides his glorious gifts across

This sacred place

Chanted voices, singing children, hands raised, the moment

Savoured as beat of drums reverberated across these

Glorious ancient mounds

We offered gratitude with the shared spirits awareness of

Future inhabitants who will replace our footsteps on this

Hallowed ground in thanksgiving.

Immobile yet absorbing the emotions within this family clan of children, adults, relations

Consciously reminiscent of the passage of time or place when earth was created

This building was constructed to delight in the hues of black or white in contrast to

The drabness of the walkways of this locale

Am a tacit custodian of secrets

Am a source of knowledge to future descendants as they

Contribute to my memories

Will offer wisdom plus knowledge from this vantage point.

An autumnal array of foliage

Bees humming buzzing flitting towards nectar

Leafy perennials enchanted swishes

Felis catus companion’s purring miaous

Human’s guffaws or chortles

Children’s enjoyable babbles

Hullabaloo

Canis familiaris barks, yelps, growls

Equine’s whinny, bovine bellows or lowing

Ice cream vans distorted wails

Vying clamorous musical discord

Motorized vehicles pandemonium

Screeching squeaking gates

Emergency aiders pierced destressed urgency

Hoovering helicopters choppy shrieks

Small gliders circular  commotion

Cacophonies

Trains rumbles, quarry blasting

Pitter – patter knocks on glass

Cats & dogs dance on driveways

Telephone irritations or re-echoes

Booming thunderclaps

Jarring racket of electrical garden tools

Exasperating leaf – blowers of eighty decibels.
