In Townley Hall, Drogheda, a framed remnant of an 18th century hand-painted Chinese hangs in the Withdrawing Room. The rest was taken down in 1950 and later purchased for the iconic Garden Room in the American Ambassador’s Residence, Winfield House, Regent’s Park, London.
