To help us celebrate ‘2012 The International Year of the Rural

Landscape’

ICOMOS Ireland invite you to submit a photograph of an Irish

rural scene with a sentence explaining why you like the particular

scene. Your photograph should try to capture the character of the

rural landscape.

Prizes will be awarded under three catagories:

• Junior (under 10)

• Youth (10-18)

• Adult (18 +)

Exhibition of winning entries in The National Museum of Ireland -Country Life

Heritage Council to host winners on on their website

PRIZES

Junior – 1st prize €100 & 4 x €50 runner up .

Youth – 1st prize €300 & €100 runner up.

Adult – 1st prize €500 & €200 runner up.

Closing date for entries: 30th August 2012

Winners announced: November 2012
