Supporting Community Archives into the Future

On Friday 29 September, the Digital Repository of Ireland (DRI) and the Irish Community Archive Network (iCAN) hosted a collaborative conference ‘Supporting Community Archives into the Future’.

The event brought community archives from diverse backgrounds all around the island of Ireland together for a day of talks, workshops and knowledge sharing. The event programme included spotlights on Black and Irish, and Clare Memories, as well as guidance from iCAN, the Heritage Council, the Oral History Network of Ireland, and the DRI ‘LEGO for Reproducibility’ workshop.
