The colours so vibrant 

Like the colour of four seasons. 

The feel of velum smooth on fingertips. 

The smell of berries fills and covers all the senses. 

I fill the the Book with the words of God. 

Time passes suddenly as the sun goes down. 

I begin my day with a prayer and the feel of fresh calf skin, 

As I decorate and cover the book of God with vibrant colours 

That are appealing to the eye. 

I sit back and admire my breath-taking work. 

I end my day with a prayer and with the image of the Book, 

still fresh in mind.
