About this custom

My family has had a long tradition to collect May Flowers the night before May Day and put them on every windowsill and doorstep of out house! It's an ancient custom that dates back to the pre-Christian celebration of Bealtaine and is intended to protect the home from supernatural forces!

When does this take place?

Every year

Where does this take place?

Roscommon
