Description of event

From historic photographs to delicate papers, the preservation of a personal archive can be challenging. Zoe Reid, senior paper conservator in the National Archives of Ireland, has developed many sensitive conservation treatments to safeguard unique images and records of the past.

In this workshop, she introduces her audience to techniques for preserving paper-based objects, including family papers, photographs and letters. 

The Expert workshops are curated by Fiona Fitzsimons, of the Irish Family History Centre (Eneclann).
