Forgotten Objects

My great-granddad won a sugar bowl and cream jug in 1905 when he was ten years old playing cards. When he married my great-granny he gave them to her. My granny remembers her mum using them when they had visitors and my mum remembers her granny using them when she stayed in her granny’s house on her holidays. My granny has them now and she keeps them safe because they have very special memories of her dad and mum, I hope that someday granny will give them to my mum and she will give them to me.
